
Born in Treviso in 1988, he graduated in Cello with top marks from the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto under the guidance of M° Walter Vestidello, later continuing his studies with Mario Brunello, Enrico Bronzi, and Antonio Meneses.
He obtained his Master’s Degree in Orchestral Conducting in 2016 at the Hochschule für Musik in Munich in the class of M° Bruno Weil.
In 2016 he conducted the Orchestra of the City of Granada, performing Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 and Elgar’s Cello Concerto with Thomas Demenga as soloist, and was subsequently appointed Music Director of the Risonanze Festival (Udine).
With the Oktopus Ensemble he conducted at the Gasteig in Munich the world premiere of Das Große Lächeln by Wilfried Hiller, one of the most renowned and frequently performed German composers.
He conducted the Venice Baroque Orchestra with Xavier de Mestre as soloist at the prestigious Grafenegg Festival (Vienna) and the “Stiftkonzerte” in Sankt Florian (Linz).
In September 2022 he conducted the VenEthos Ensemble for the Venice Biennale in the world premiere of The Return by Simon Steen-Andersen. He subsequently conducted a series of concerts with Filarmonia Veneta at the Teatro “Mario del Monaco” in Treviso as part of the “Gocce Musicali” concert season.
Since 2022 he has served as Music Director of the European youth project Junges Musik Podium Dresden–Venice. In the same year he conducted in Rome at the Teatro di Villa Torlonia.
He has also conducted the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto at the Basilica del Santo in Padua and, in the same year, the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta at the Teatro Mario del Monaco in Treviso with pianist Leonora Armellin as soloist.
From March 2023 to January 2025 he served as Artistic and Music Director of the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta.
He was invited by the Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim, where he conducted the Orchester für Niedersachsen with cellist Christoph Croisé as soloist, and later conducted Le nozze di Figaro in Ferrara with the Orchestra Città di Ferrara.
In January 2024 in Verona, at the Teatro Ristori, he conducted Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the FrauMusika Orchestra, staged by Gianmaria Aliverta, a production warmly received by critics. He returned several times to the podium of the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta at the Teatro Mario del Monaco in Treviso with pianist Filippo Gamba and later with soloist Vikram Sedona.
In the same year he conducted the Venice Baroque Orchestra in the Cathedral of Meldorf (Hamburg) with mandolinist Avi Avital, the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana at the Teatro Politeama in Palermo, and the Orchestra Città di Ferrara at the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara.
In 2025 he conducted Mozart’s The Magic Flute at the Teatro Municipale di Piacenza and, in June, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle at the Certosa Monumentale in Ferrara. He conducted Mozart’s Don Giovanni at the Stresa Festival, subsequently the Orchestra of the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, and, at Milan Cathedral, the Cameristi della Scala together with the Youth Choir and the Choir of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala.
His first musical love remains central to his artistic path: he is Principal Cello of the Venice Baroque Orchestra (under Andrea Marcon), with which he performs, also as a soloist, in the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Barbican Centre in London, the Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow, Tokyo Opera Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and many others.
He is also the cellist of the VenEthos Ensemble, a period-instrument string quartet performing throughout Italy and abroad (Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Haydneum, Mozartiana Festival – Gdańsk, Amici della Musica di Padova, Musikamera Venice, Accademia Filarmonica di Verona, Festival Risonanze, Ricercare Fabris in Rome, Fondazione Perugia Musica Classica).
Their CD I Quartetti Milanesi (W. A. Mozart) received the Diapason Découverte award in 2022.
In 2023 he performed as principal cello in a Baroque production of the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala.
